With the awaited match for Hamburg the match against Manchester City on 16th April has prompted rumours that Martin Jol is all set to replace Mark Huges the manager of Manchester United.
On one side the defeat from Fulham has really upset the supporters of Manchester City and their chants that Mark Hughes did not know what he was doing when they went down 3-1 in spite of the fact that they were leading by one goal in the initial stages of the match. While on the other side Hamburg had a fantastic season.
Martin Jol however denied any truth in this matter and said that he has opted for tradition over money. Praising his club and his employer he said that Manchester City is a great club and he really admired the fans. He added that he was very upset with these kinds of things as he was not even giving even the slightest thought to this aspect and he really liked his present employer. He said that he wished to stay here for a longer period.
With the match of Hamburg against Manchester city if City is not able to recover from the previous defeat Martin will get the first hand experience of the discontented city’s fans at their home ground.
Another issue that adds the pressure for Mark Hughes is the fact that in this week’s match Khaldoon Al Mubarak the chairman of the club is flying specially to watch the match. However this visit was scheduled prior to the defeat on Sunday against Fulham.
There was a claim by some national newspaper that the name of Ray Ranson Chairman of Coventry City has come up as a strong contender for taking up the role of Chief executive at Newcastle and Liverpool. Chris Coleman however laughed off the claim and dismissed the news of Ranson planning on going to the Premier Leagues as baseless.
This is confirmed that Liverpool needs a replacement, as Ricky Parry confirmed that he would be leaving Liverpool by the season’s end. Similarly this summer long line of shuffles is being planned at St James Park in Newcastle. Further Ray Ranson has been in the limelight and has got widespread praise for the financial turnaround he has brought at Coventry City resulting in a transformed Sky Blues in a span of just one year.
When Ranson was asked to comment on the so called rumours of his leaving Coventry City, he did not give a clear cut denial and said that he was really flattered that his work was being noticed and appreciated by other clubs. However he said that they have all, which included Chris Coleman and the dedicated players and everybody has done a lot of hard work, but still there is a long road ahead as they have still not achieved anything yet.
Meanwhile Chris Coleman was sure that Ranson will be staying for a long term and there was complete commitment to the project of Sky Blues. He further added that he had talked to Ranson and both of them had a laugh at the story. It seems we can sooner expect to see Ranson in a pair of Merrel Siren Ventilator womens shoes, than see him as the executive at either Newcastle or Liverpool. Nevertheless Ranson never completely denied the rumours and stranger things have happened.
The WWE diva, Victoria, has recently responded to rumours about her retirement. The superstar has verified that this is only a rumour and she has no plans to retire right now, especially as she is enjoying so much success, having actually been included in the latest WWE Smackdown vs. RAW 2009 game for starters. She said that everybody is gonna retire sooner or later but she has not decided a date for her retirement yet. She even doesn’t like to conform or deny any rumor or comment but she had to respond to this one as it has already created a lot of buzz in the blogosphere.
Victoria updated in her MySpace account that right now she is concentrating on enjoying the X-Mas with her loved ones. She is planning to have a quality time with her near and dear ones and wished all the MySpacers a Happy X-Mas and said that she is excited because of the festive season.
On her blog she commented, “I try not to respond to internet rumors, but I have received hundreds of emails through both MySpace and through www.black-widow-customs.com asking me if I am going to retire. I never said that I am, although sooner or later we all will. And I don’t believe that “unnamed talent” is saying that about me either. On the other hand, I never said that my retirement is not imminent. I do appreciate everyone’s support. I try to be open about my life in my blogs. But I would never comment about anything, either to confirm or deny, that may come up in future WWE shows. I’m not the kind of person who wants to know the end of a movie before I see it. And I don’t want to ruin anyone’s future enjoyment of WWE product.”
