Scott Sportster P 55 (2010): Speedy and Fairly Cheap Hybrid Bike

A hybrid bike is designed for general-purpose utility and for riding on streets and bike paths. It includes the features of both a road bike and a mountain bike and has a sturdy and comfortable design. The frame included in a road bike is more upright and offers a more comfortable riding position to the rider. It can also handle more weight than the other bike varieties owing to its stouter design. To offer more stability and better traction on all types of terrains, the tyres included are slightly wider and have lighter rims for faster riding. The latest entry in the range of hybrid bikes is made by the Scott Sportster P 55 (2010). It belongs to the 2010 Scott Sportster range of bikes which are provided with the Scott Urban Kit for offering you the option of customizing the bike according to your taste.

The Scott Sportster P 55 (2010) has the new Sportster Frame Alloy 6061frame that is lightweight but sturdy enough to cruise through the rough urban roads or uneven terrains of countryside. There is the SR Suntour NEX 4110 suspension fork included in the bike that provides 63mm of travel to soften out bumps and jolts. The Shimano 48/38/28 crankset of the Scott Sportster P 55 (2010) is combined with an Acera rear derailleur and 11-30 cassette to provide 24 fantastic gear choices for almost any type of trails. For effective handling wherever your ride takes you, the hybrid bike is provided with Shimano mechanical disc brakes which deliver controlled deceleration and stops.
